The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund (Scholarship)
About the Graduate Scholarship
The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund graduate scholarships were established
in 2006 to develop leadership skills, and provide advanced training to
Hispanic/Latino students who would like to enhance their career opportunities or
seek up-to-date work related knowledge.
We sponsor two annual, need-based scholarships to full-time Hispanic/Latino
graduate students. The scholarship also provides a book stipend which helps
cover attendance related expenses.
Graduate Eligibility

Hispanic/Latino student whose family/legal guardian resides in the United States (International students are not eligible)

Pursues a graduate degree at AASU and meets program admission requirements
-
Minimum 2.75 GPA
-
Demonstrates financial need, regardless of their residency status
Once Awarded
-
Student must maintain a 2.75 overall GPA and take at least 9 credit hours
per semester (full-time)
-
Perform 25 hours of leadership service per semester in special community
projects
Personal (living) expenses, supplies, insurance, and other related cost are not
covered by the scholarship.
Graduate Scholarship Application Packet
All documents below are in pdf format. Please print them and submit a
complete application packet by May 1st, 2010. If items are missing, the
scholarship application will not be considered for an award. Your packet should
include the following parts:

Official, sealed copy of college transcript(s)

Letter of Intent Form (Part 3)

Two sealed, confidential Letters of Recommendation

Copy of 2007-08 FAFSA application Student Aid Report (SAR) or

Income Verification Form (Part 4)

Our committee will review scholarship applications and letters of award will
be mailed out by June 10, 2009. Please send your complete scholarship
