Admissions

FRESHMEN

If you will graduate from high school this year OR have been out of high school for less than five years

You must submit:
  • Completed Armstrong Atlantic Admissions Application
  • $ 25 application fee
  • Immunization form
  • Official high school transcript
  • Official Record of SAT I or ACT test scores
  • Meet minimum:
    • SAT I Verbal 460, Math 430 or ACT English 19, Math 18
    • Freshmen Index = 1940

All new freshmen must satisfy the University System of Georgia College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) requirements:
  • English: 4 units
  • Mathematics: 4 units
  • Science: 3 units
  • Social Science: 3 units
  • Foreign Language: 2 units

We recommend that you take additional academic units in high school because you will have more chances to be accepted into any institution, and receive scholarships.



NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENT

...are those students who have been out of high school or college for five or more years.

You must submit:
  • Completed Armstrong Atlantic Admissions Application
  • $ 25.00 Application Fee
  • Immunization Form
  • Official High School Transcript and/or GED Scores
  • Official Transcripts from all Colleges or Universities Attended, if applicable.
  • Non-Traditional students are not required to submit SAT I /ACT scores or to fulfill College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) requirements. All Non-Traditional students will be required to take the COMPASS Placement Examination. Students are scheduled for the COMPASS Examination after they are accepted to the university.




TRANSFER STUDENT

...are those students who have attended any college or university.

You must submit:
  • Completed Armstrong Atlantic Admissions Application
  • $ 25.00 Application Fee
  • Immunization Form
  • Official Transcripts from all Colleges or Universities Attended (Students must have a 2.0 Cumulative Transfer GPA) Students who have earned fewer than 30 transferable semester hours (45 quarter hours) will be required to submit an Official High School Transcript and SAT I or ACT Test Scores.




TRANSIENT

Those students who are attending another college or university and would like to attend Armstrong for no more than two consecutive semesters.

You must submit:
  • Completed Armstrong Atlantic Admissions Application
  • $ 25.00 Application Fee
  • Immunization Form
  • Transient Letter or Letter of Good Standing from the institution requesting enrollment in specific courses (this letter will be used for advisement at Armstrong). An updated Transient Letter or Letter of Good Standing is required for each semester of attendance.




INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

NEVER SEND YOUR ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS, MAKE PHOTOCOPIES

The HOLA program does NOT process any international
student applications.
